Medicine

We serve the state and the nation by providing medical education through our School of Medicine in Columbia, a recognized leader in primary care medical education, research and patient care, and our School of Medicine Greenville, where students work and learn with biomedical educators and clinical faculty members within the Greenville Hospital System.

Graduate Degrees

Noted for its high-quality medical education, the School of Medicine in Columbia provides its students with one-on-one instruction that lasts throughout their medical studies. In addition to the M.D., the School of Medicine collaborates with other University of South Carolina colleges and schools to offer specialized graduate degrees in biomedical science, genetic and rehabilitation counseling and nurse anesthesia as well as a certificate in psychiatric rehabilitation. You may also choose our dual degree option in medicine and biomedical science.
