Biostatistics
The graduate-level programs in biostatistics are designed for students pursuing careers in community health measurement, design and management of health data systems and the development and application of quantitative methods to health problems.
Graduate Degrees
The Division of Biostatistics is part of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Arnold School of Public Health, which houses a diverse population of faculty members and students from around the world. The biostatistics degree programs prepare our students for careers in academic research and teaching, corporate research and in the public sector in government, nonprofit and public health agencies.
The Master of Science in Public Health degree is designed for those who wish to acquire skills necessary for doing research in public health.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics is an advanced graduate degree for those who intend to pursue teaching and research careers. The major objective is to prepare an individual to develop and apply biostatistical principles and methods to public health problems.
