With easy access to the larger USC campus, Columbia is the perfect location for anyone interested in pursuing a career in clinical or research-based health care.

Our Campus 

The University of South Carolina School of Medicine’s campus is a beautifully landscaped campus with lush lawns, mature trees and convenient parking.  It is located four miles east of the university’s main campus and adjacent to the Dorn VA Medical Center.

 

Day in the Life of a Medical Student (will resume October 2022)

We offer one-on-one tours between prospective students and current students to give you a better understanding of everything our school has to offer. During your visit, you'll attend first year lectures and labs, visit the Ultrasound Institute, tour the campus and have the chance to ask your guide any questions. You can fill out the request form for more information.  (Please check back in October 2022 for the sign-up form.)
