Background

In her role as digital marketing strategist, Rachel handles the online presence of the college, including the CEC website and social media accounts. She also coordinates the college's external marketing efforts and public relations activities. Her background is in public relations, web content management and digital content strategy.

Rachel brings nearly 10 years of communications experience to the CEC. Previously she served as the college's web content strategist, redesigning and redeveloping the CEC website. She has also worked as a public relations coordinator and content strategist for the South Carolina Bar and as a public information specialist in the Office of Legislative and Public Affairs at the S.C. Department of Education, where she also served as the secretary to the S.C. State Board of Education.

On campus, Rachel advises the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. The organization is a service sorority affiliated with UofSC Carolina Bands.
