The Office of the Vice President for Research is seeking senior faculty who have had success obtaining funding from the NIH and/or NSF to serve as mentors for the Propel Research Mentorship Program in the 2022-2023 academic year. Applications are now open, and interested faculty are encouraged to apply by Monday, August 22, 2022.
Today's edition includes a call for new and early-career faculty to apply for the Propel Research Mentorship Program by August 15 and an invitation to join us this afternoon for the Office of Undergraduate Research's Summer Research Symposium.
Propel is a structured research mentorship program that provides new and early-career faculty with nine months of structured workshops, mentorship and editing support to help them develop a polished grant proposal for the National Institutes of Health or the National Science Foundation. Nominations for the 2022-2023 Propel class will be accepted beginning Monday, July 25, and complete nominations are due by Monday, August 15, 2022.
