Join USC's research core teams January 5 for the inaugural Research Cores Fair

The USC Office of the Vice President for Research is excited to announce that on January 5, 2023, the University will host the first-ever Research Cores Fair. The goals of the fair are to increase awareness of Core services and strengthen inter-core relationships so individual cores can better meet the needs of target user groups.

Streamlined 2023 ASPIRE program seeks faculty research proposals

The Office of the Vice President for Research has streamlined the ASPIRE program for the 2023 funding cycle. The coming year's ASPIRE awards will emphasize funding for early-career faculty who intend to pursue subsequent extramural funding. ASPIRE 2023 proposals are due before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

New IT and Data Management Page on the Office of the VPR Website

The Office of the Vice President for Research recently relaunched the IT and Data Management page within the VPR website. This new section provides resources and information to researchers and is now more easily accessible to the research community.

SPARC provides up to $5,000 to support graduate student research projects, and offers applicants experience to help them pursue national fellowship and grant awards throughout their academic careers. SPARC applications are due Wednesday, October 12, 2022, by 5:00 p.m.
